You are absoluteley right in what you said..Good post and my first rating I have given in this Db is to you..Unfortunatley in this DB, people who try to share some sense are made mockery of it...Adhi sattire oh leka pothe athi thelavi aa thelyadu kaani..that is how many are here... In India, Govt gives a govt job, gift award only after yuo win a medal. They do not invest money on sports persons who must be groomed to win medals. As such the media, govt, and people at large are As* Lickers of the cricket and we tend to ignore other sports. I pity the sports persons who are struggling to bring glory for this country have no push from us. Anyways we need to appreciate our winners for bring home a couple of bronze and silver... | ||

endukandi participants ni blame cheyyadam!we must be proud they are atleast qualifying for olympics. We must blame government,parents,coaches first before blaming participants. Government must make sports as a compulsory curriculum activity in every school!students must have grades according to their performances. Parents must encourage sports.Every person who is doing well in their fields must have a good coach and with proper training we will start winning medals regularly. But here the problem relays with Government and Parents they are not ready provide or accept the sports as a curriculum activity. India lo sports are still not accepted as a subject!It must be involved in curriculum of every school to college. Nenu school lo vunnapudu ma trainer cheppevaru India sports lo develop avvalante inko 100 years padutundi ani! Parents always want studies,studies,studies they are not giving children enough freedom even sports ni kooda aadanivaaru when they are in 10th class to intermediate level. Luckily I never had such problem as I enjoyed every moment of my schooldays,participating in various competitions.
