Antha openly casteist ga unte feel avvam enti. Eenadu, evaru emanna, unlike other newspapers does not name castes of candidates even at election times. Newsprint was highly regularised earlier and that is why people used to set up other newspapers to get some allocation that can then be diverted to the mainline newspapers. Of course things have changed over the past 2 decades after liberalisation. | ||

I know one of folks at Blackstone. They had earlier wanted to invest in ETV and Eenadu but YSR killed it. Apart from that there are lots of PE funds and buyout specialists like TPG, Carlyle, KKR who swoop down in these scenarios and take a large stake. | ||
