Register Now for free prospectus. New Delhi, Aug 26 (UNI) The Railways today said the August 1 fire incident in Goutami Express in Andhra Pradesh was caused by " some highly inflammable substance." Thirty one passengers had perished and nine were wounded when a sleeper coach of Secunderabad-Kakinada Goutami Express caught fire between Kesamudram-Talapusapalli stations. Railways Safety Commissioner, South Central Circle, Secunderabad, in his preliminary findings, said the fire "occurred due to some highly inflammable substance (in liquid or solid form) present in S-10 coach." " It was kept there by some unidentified person or persons while the train was speeding at 75 kmph, he said, adding "the fire appeared to have originated from the floor level."
