He probably said the same comments before and no one took it negatively. Today, saying I want to do a film with Rajanikanth, the only South Indian actor who gets national media coverage(Shivaji, Enthiran), lands him in trouble.
What's so bad about doing a film with Rajani? The greatness of Tamilians is that they accepted this Karnataka born Maharastrian as their own. The lowness in Telugus is that without reason, there is concentrated hate on Tamil film industry.
How is it wonderful if Shankar, Maniratnam say it would be wonderful to do a film with Chiranjeevi but a reputed Telugu director saying the same is unappealing? |
