Senior producer-actor and former Rajya Sabha member M Mohan Babu, who has been maintaining suspense over his political affiliation, seems to have made up his mind to join the YSR Congtress party headed by Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy. Mohan Babu, along with his son Manchu Vishnu, met Jagan in the Chanchalguda jail in the morning, triggering speculations that he might take a plunge into the YSR Congress. Both of them spent some time with Jagan in the jail. Though Mohan Babu might have met Jagan because of the family relationship between the two (the actorâs daughter-in-law Veronica is the first cousin of Jagan), it definitely led to the talk that the former might join YSR Congress. This is the second time that Mohan Babu and Jagan had a personal talk in the last two-three months and the senior actor told the media in the past that he would be returning to active politics very shortly. Mohan Babu, in fact, reacted strongly when Jagan was arrested by saying that âpolitical vendetta should have limits.â He also found fault with the arrest of Nimmagadda Prasad, who he said was a wonderful human being and philanthropist. A month before that, Jagan and Bharati went to the residence of Mohan Babu and had an intimate talk. Since then, the actor kept the media guessing on his political re-entry.
