Sankei asked about how he thinks about the recent labor dispute and possibility of investment from Japan could get cooled off. Mr. Modi said â(state of Gujarat) is politically stable and employers, employees and stake holders are communicating well as if they are familyâ. He indicated the state government plans to be actively involved in efforts to prevent and settle labor disputes. At the investment seminar, Mr. Modi announced the state will start the subdivision of the industrial park for Japanese companies in December. The subdivision price will be cheaper than the industrial park in Rajastan which also targets Japanese manufacturers. Until it was agreed to accelerate the DMIC projects, many of Japanese investment were directed to Southern part of the country, even though the investment amount almost doubled in FY2011. However, after the agreement to speed up DMIC, Mr. Modi expects to see increase in infra-related investment to the state because the state of Gujarat is located in the middle of DMIC project. He showed high expectation towards the large-scale desalination projects planned by Hitachi. âEdano Urged CM Gujarat Early Improvement of Infrastructure for Japanese Companiesâ Published in: Sankei Shimbun Sankei, Tokyo, July 24 Mr. Yukio Edano, Minister of Economy, Trade and Investment met CM of State of Gujarat, Mr. Modi on 23rd at METI building. If Indications are right we will be seeing Chiru as a Central minister in a weeks time. 1) A small reshuffle in the Central Cabinet betn Jul 28 and Aug 3rd. 2)Beccum into ajnaatham and maybe we'll see him as PS to the Cabinet/Central Minister. 3) Stars show sign of a spurt in the career of Chiru. 4) Chiru is suddenly not to be seen anywhere.
