Never could/can figure the craze for NBK. I tried watching his films. Not appealing. But with Chiru, heck ya, he had screen presence. But no hero worth their salt will release more than 2 films today. One, there are too many heroes. Especially from the same families. Two, people don't have the same craze for stars/movies. The 80/early 90's were a different period. Today, being fans is all about also showing your power, getting something in return. Once upon a time, heroes had the advantage of good fans. Today, the fans feel they can bully their heroes, and expect return in some way. NTR is being threatened by Kammas, Chiru faced criticism when son married, Mahesh Babu has always survived criticism from his fans for being reclusive. | ||
