But, people seem to have ignored. CBN has been trying hard to come out of the downfall by proposing: 1. 100 seats to BCs 2. Abstaining from presidential elections and stating neutral stand 3. Suspending the doubtful defecting MLAs, though not yet crossed the bridge 4. Replacing the defected positions with BCs 5. Minority policy 6. Free Policy such as free money, free power, free rice etc, and all free But, no one cares and people still put CBN on ignore list. Why? Is that because he terribly lost credibility? Also, there is some negative impact on abstaining from presidential elections. The majority view this as an escapist policy and for political parties that stay away from democratic process, will be ignored as well by the people. Coming back to YSRC, the party leadership has successfully propagated the message that the party will not alienate itself from any elections, be it bi-elections or presidential elections which is a significant milestone for a 2 year old party where as a 30 year old party is just sitting on the fence. YSRC (1) supported TDP during the no confidence motion, (2) supported Telengana sentiment during the recent bi-elections and didn’t field any candidates, (3) supported UPA candidate for Presidential elections. The party doesn’t mind supporting anybody for a cause which is a great ideological foundation for the coming years. Great going YSRC, keep doing the best of the best for the people and for the democratic institutions. |
