AFAIK they will cancel your existing VISA even before asking questions...happened to me witha F1 visa.. i went for F1 extension ( visa was valid for 4 more months)...the visa officer cancelled without prejuice stamp esindhi appudu questions asked...passport sethilo petti email vasthundi verification tarvatha appudu passport pampnchu ani seppio.. query vesi 4 weeks delay sesindhi..

nope..Visa ki vellagane first nee unna visa ni cancel chesthadu with a stamp "Cancelled without prejudice"
First hand info ..when I went in 2006.
