Correct - some of my friends who are senior level folks at Infy, their variable is 50% of their total pay and this year they are getting only 65% of it. That means their pay has come down by 15% from their CTC. CTC is only on paper, actual pay is much lower because of reduced bonuses. | ||

No. of years X 2 - i don't know where this heuristic comes from. It changes according to the graduating college, prior experience, individual skills beyond coding, leadership skills etc. Some might get 3 times also, i have seen folks with less too.
