It is wrong to say that I owe my political life to Naidu. I was given the party ticket only at the instance of NTR family, particularly Harikrishna and the people of Gudivada had voted for me because of the love and affection towards NTR, but not because of Naidu,” he clarified. Alleging that Naidu had mortgaged the party to the Congress and prostrated before Sonia Gandhi, the Gudivada MLA said the TDP had been wiped out in all the three regions of the state. “Naidu has called upon the party workers to hound me out, but the day is not far off when the people would chase Naidu by hitting him with chappals and stones,” he said. Nani said he had not committed any mistake by meeting Jagan and his mother Vijayalakshmi. “I have personal relationship with them and I met them only because they are in troubles. Doesn’t Naidu have personal relationship with Daggubati family? I was suspended without being given an opportunity to explain my version.
