i hope not on sunday! murray is one of the smartest players i have seen (fed/hingis/j-mac/justine henin/edberg/marcelo rios) being the others! he is also the 2nd best in terms of movement on grass court in the last decade. you see fed/murray/gasquet/tsonga/roddick [only lateral movement for roddick] and you see they are natural on the grass. small, quick steps and no sliding! [tsonga and murray slide at times, but for the most part, they donot! it will be highly ironic if Ivan Lendl, who was notorious for his NOT winning wimbledon helps britain find their 1st home-grown champ in 76 years  I am hoping that the Tennis Gods dont have such a wicked SOH! Very simple thing. djokovic/nadal's strength is playing the underdog. the strength of the underdog is to play on house money. fed/sampras are at the other end. they always want to be top-dogs and go into matches as favorites. that is why nadal ALWAYS claims the other guy is favorite in a final. Fed/sampras always wanted to see themselves as favorites when they go into a final. djokovic is in between these two extremes, but he prefers to be underdog. this kind of thinking is why nadal has defended 0 titles outside clay, never defended a no.1 year end ranking and djokovic has defended only 4 titles in his entire career. fed on the other hand has defended titles quite a few number of times. anyway, point is, djokovic was the all-out favorite for this match and it is not a position he enjoys much. he was the favourite in 2011 FO match too! If you see the match, djokovic played much better when he was behind. whenever he was on equal terms, he played a little too casually! fed now has got the novak slam - beat him in all GS! Fed has survived that moment in 2008.
