This temporary pause does not apply to those with a qualifying job offer or applying under the PhD stream. uh oh....may be things changed now.......recently there were changes regarding family based visas...no more family based immigration.......they are giving 10-year visa requiring medical insurance for parents/grand parents........no more freebies to family immigration..........maybe, punjabi immigration has gone down..... today it might be a holiday...call those migrationconcerns guy tomorrow......basics definite gaa phone lo chepthaaru anukuntaa... | ||

USA queue is less than India queue....so, Yes it is advantageous to apply from US.... local consulates in the country work on the applications first......US consulates have less applications resulting in less turnaround times..... | ||
