Yes, it is due to heat. Give it time, he will be normal. Lol. about not eating food. One thing, does he let you take away his food while he is eating? If he allows that, he loves you very much. he thinks you want to eat his food, and he is okay with that!! my dog allows me grab his dish in the middle. some dogs dont!! maiking that Grrrrr.. sound instead of barking is great too.. just telling them, mind your steps, people, this is my yard, dont mess with it, we are all gentlemen, we dont need to shout, okay!! my dog keeps Grrrr'ing even for squirrels! they take their property rights seriously! OK, heat valane antara, nothing to worry antara.... ee madhya koncham chala badindhi Vij lo, and nenu kooda leka povatam tho maa vaalu pedha ga AC veyatam ledhu emo kanukovali... 6 months ke tiger leka unaadu... No, it must be the heat. Not because of training. Also, GS mature very fast, and they behave like gentlemen. my Lab also behaves like gentleman now. coming back to heat, dog's body temp is 5C greater than us. So, if outside temp is 40C, they feel like 45C. So be very careful about heatstroke. keep lot of fresh ice cold water to drink. Royal dogs like GS/Labs do not drink water if they taste once. you need to change and keep fresh water. otherwise they dont drink even if thirsty. when it is that hot, they do not seem active. it is common. they act like they are not interested in any thing. so a bit of both. just like an adult person does not behave like a small kid, an adult dog does not behave like puppy. we wish they just remain puppies.. today we took my dog also Buddy for swimming first time after he is born. he enjoyed it so much. swam like a champ in the deep end.
