i didnt loose any wt but i can feel i've added more muscle mass..i can see a diff in my body shape. I was doing circuit training consisting of compound workouts..love the fact that i can hit all major muscle groups in 40mins. waist deggara koncham flab undi..next goal, to loose some flab..i started doing high reps from today..have to do cardio more regularly |

I lost abt 20 lbs...now at 184 lbs...at 6'2" ht, feel very light and active (used to be very lazy always wanted to lay my azz at one place ...now i find energy for most things which otherwise wud rather tried to find an excuse to avoid ).... 32 fits snugly and 34 very comfy....although on the lower side of normal BMI...still have few concerns and desires....body fat 5 must be high so far never tried to gauge it....but can feel that fat% is high coz double chin and belly fat din't dissapear altogether...no specific targets....honestly not sure weather to try and maintain where i'm or try to set new goals...coz new goals frm here wud take lot of motivation and focus....I'm not sure if want to fit that kinda descipline in my lifestyle as yet |

in the 5x5 program, you basically have two lifting workouts which you will do 3 times a week for e.g., M - d1, W- d2, F-d1 and then next M-d2 the workouts have only barbell compound exercises like D1 - squats, bench press, barbell rows D2 - squats, overhead press, deadlifts no isolation things like arm curls, tri pushdowns after warmup you do 5 sets of 5 reps, with a 2.5 lb weight increase the next time you do the same exercise the program's designer advises to start very light and get the technic right in the first couple of weeks as i had some exp already in the these, i started at moderate weight for e.g, my previous 5 reps max wt on the squats was 140. i started at 105 on the first day as i did not want to hit the stagnation wall very soon the workouts are great so far with each rep , i am trying to improve my technique hopefully i will get to lift strong Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall,Humpty Dumpty had a great fall |

It has been close to six months now since the year begin and I would like to share my experience First, sorry for not doing daily or regular threads...got a lot of things going on in past couple of months At the beginning of this year, I was between 159-160 ( 5.9 ht) with size 32 pants fitting snugly and 34 fitting comfortably. One thing you got to rem is the pant waist size is actually less than yours for the first three months, I did a bit of strength training and cardio once my body got used to the groove, I tried the Krish Gethin 12 week program starting April 1st I did not do it to a T but stuck to the basics of the program - high rep sets, eating small meals every 2-3 hrs, 20 min cardio sessions finished the 12 weeks schedule in around 10 weeks diet wise - avoided high/white carbs, greasy food, alcohol..ate mainly fish or chicken when eating out result: weight down to 147-148 my tummy which was convex shape before is reasonable now i bought a pair of shorts last week...size 30 keeping aside the pant sizes theory , i feel like i lost around 2 inches around my waist however, though my body was getting into a good fit, there a few things i wanted to change for my build which is borderline medium, i am right now kind of skinny fat guy...with a bit of flab around the waist line also i felt like i lost some of my lifting strength and for me strength matters more than toning of muscles and feeling the pump i took a breather deload kind of week and started a 5x5 lifting program called strong lifts last week i have also upped my food intake as i want to get into upper 150s in 10-12 weeks but this time with lean muscle( fingers crossed) i will post about the 5x5 program next Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall,Humpty Dumpty had a great fall |
