Old fella.. chaala artistic ga untaayi ithathi themese and color grading. Personally I like rajeev menon.Mani tho kalisaadu ante kummesthaaru iddaru. Bombay lo initial shots ni ...light blue lo mix chesaaru.sea shore ni chupisthu...arvind swamy n manidsh madya romatic scenes anni. Chaala effective ga untaayi..still ppl can memorise dem.. aalage urike chilaka song. Same movie sec half lo...bomb blasts effect kosam brown tint use chesaadu. Raajev menon director ga theesina merupu kalalu n priyuraalu pilichindi..both r very coloful movies with rich sets. Hollywood lo anthaga idea ledhu maama..but still Perfume movie lo ..awesome untundhi ..Donno his other works. | ||

Sri: Teja has a lot of short temper and we hear that he slapped many... Sameer: He slapped me too... (laughs)! I agree he has short temper, but he is the most talented and is kind hearted too. Whenever he shouted at me, I used to think that I need to learn fast and get away from him, which made me learn things quickly. I then realized that he was not just a person that yells at you, but was also a kind individual. He is my guru and I always like to work with him, no matter what, any day. Sri: Do you think lack of the knowledge of amateur and young directors is one problem, as some of them do not start with a bound script like in Hindi? Sameer: Not all, but with some, yes! See, when a fight scene is to be shot, they book a crane and other things much in advance, and when the fight master come to sets on that day, he does not know anything about the film before. So, he'll start discussing things right on the day of the shoot, and by the time his assistants are all ready, it'll be two days. The equipment rent for these two days is a wasted expense for the producer! On the other hand, take the example of Ramu sir: When I first met him on the sets of Kshanakshanam, he was doing the first shot of the film – the bank robbery scene. He wanted a fifteen feet trench to be dug in the middle of the road, and no one understood what he was planning to do. He then instructed the camera to be placed in the trench, and to show the shot from under the car, from the back, and get focused on the watchman. It was a brilliant shot, definitely! Sri: How was working with Amitabh ji, a legend? Sameer: Oh, that's another thing I can never forget! He is one of the finest actors we have and a great human being too! No matter what, he's always on time for the shooting; in fact, he's ready with makeup at least 10 minutes before schedule, and he's the last person to leave. Karishma was also there in the shooting. She was always late for the shoot by at least one hour. But Amit ji never complained about it and used to wait for her patiently. After a month of shooting, Amit ji didn't come for the shooting one day, and everyone was waiting for him. We thought that Amitabh wanted to show it to Karishma the irritable feeling when we wait for someone. He came at 11:30 a.m. when he was supposed to come at 8 a.m. Seeing him getting out of the car, everyone took positions for the shoot and I went up to check the lighting. He came directly to the director, held his hands and apologized with tears in his eyes, explaining that his mother became suddenly ill and he joined her in the hospital that morning as Abhishek was not in town and that the doctors asked him to stay beside her bed until she feels okay. Then, he called for me, and I came down. I didn't know what was happening until then on the sets, and then he apologized profusely to me too! I didn't know what to say, but my eyes were full of tears! He also apologized to Akshay and Karishma personally, in a similar manner! That's Amitabh ji. I can never forget this incident in my life.
