It is Surjit Singh not Sarabjit Singh. Looks like a Paki U-turn....most probably pressure from Army & ISI. The Law Ministry has sent a summary to the Interior Ministry for the immediate release of Singh. Sarabjit Singh had been sentenced to death after he was convicted for his involvement in the 1990 Multan and Lahore bomb attacks. He is currently imprisoned in the Kot Lakhpat Jail in Lahore.
