That 5% is important, they can influence another 10%...Modi popularity is more because of their enduring love and support to him.....so the campaign need to take care of their support....also many hindus are subconsciously hindu, they can be influenced with positive message and strong leadership....the campaign should touch both development and hindu identity for optimum penetration....In the case of Modi he doesn't need to talk himself on hindu identity, opposition will do that for him, he can play on that without any negative effects | ||

The % of Indians who are aware of their "Hindu Identity" like Rajiv Malhotra explains, could not be more than 5% in the current Indian society. Running a campaign for Prime Ministership by depending on them is against conventional wisdom. Btw .. any prominent names for "Secular" Rightists?
