If you remember, about 3 years ago, there was a market for Netbooks. They are light weight laptops with limited processing power. Handy for trivial use. Almost every manufacturer jumped into this segment making the netbooks. There were rumours that Apple will come out with a netbook, instead Apple surprised the world with ipad (a tablet). 2 years later, everyone abandoned the netbooks and jumped on to tablet bandwagon. before iPAD there is no space/market for tablets, at least lot of people used to think it is for high-end people. Apple created that space/market with iPAD and now every one is trying to get into that space. Zune. Deeni release ki intha, antha hype kaadu. Xbox integration was the highlight. Nothing wrong with that marketing, but what happened. Nobody remembers it now. Same thing happened Windows Phone 7, followed by Mango OS. It is supposed to work as mobile gaming console (like PlayStation Vita) with access to XBOX Live. Didn't take off clean. Now, rooting for Windows Phone 8  Bottomline, all these Apple killers make big noise. Right after the release, they are waiting for their next version to fight Apple. Irony.... | ||

iPad is based on iPhone antav. Malli, iPad is inspired by Windows Tablet ani kooda antav. iPad success evariki ivvali? My take is simple. Apple does not invent new stuff. They just make things cool, intuitive, easy to work and more presentable to common users. Others may be innovative but fail miserably when the final product reaches public. There is entire geek population who don't care about ui/looks/presentation, stay away from Apple. We don't need to judge Apple or others. They know what their target market is. | ||

iPad came as a toy for apple fans and people looking for a cool gadget but i feel a touch pad is going to be a defacto standard down the line pc was a breakthrough then internet was a game changer tablet/touchpad wifi based might be the next game changer first two changed the work habits and lifestyle of people.. the third is on its way there.. unless there will be a new path breaking gadget thats the way it might go.. prophet ambati laga idi nenu chese pravachanam | ||
