Balu made it possible to hear dose songs.Yesudaas dont need to try dat even HE proved in many areas..Karnatic,devotional, commercial movie songs. Balu is aint bad either.this comparison wrong, as earlier I said. On lighter note,If someone is in d field for a long timer, we tend to feel dat he is great in dat by habituating to dose features.- tue stockholm syndrome.

I agree with most of the people here, Kishore da is very versatile singer, he can sing any number. Kani if you listen to some of the old songs of Rafi they are very soulful, he oozes perfect emotions for any song, just listen to Teesri Manzil songs, all of them were huge hits, but I read somewhere (Indiafm) that R.D.Burman never used to like Rafi becoz, it is very hard to teach him something new and he is not that flexible when comes to singing modern songs and moulding his voice to the need of the director, RDBurman is a big fan of Kishore it seems, thats why you see so many good songs from both these legends. | ||

I always liked extreme art. I never liked anyone who has less flexible voice than someone like Nusrat. I like Kishore for that reason. Rafi...there are few songs that only Rafi can sing, for ex...I was listening to this song the other day. 'tum ne pukaaraa aaur hum chale aaye...dil hathelee par le aaye re...', there is really some magic in his voice that make you spell bound... But if I have to pick one between Kishore and Rafi, it will be Kishore hands down...kishore's voice is very flexible and manly...
