i had been to apple store only once...the wall charger which i received with my iphone was defective and non-functional. visited nearest apple store in the mall on a weekend day...which was a big mistake... there was too much of crowd...but there are few people who are promptly attending customers and giving appointment. they told the next appointment is only after couple of hours.. so i roamed around in the mall to kill time and then went back.. someone verified the charger and just replaced it with brand new at no cost.. if you want better experience avoid weekends and peak hours...just go during weekdays and odd-hours.. | ||

for those who do not know the apple refurb policy: they completely change exterior to a brand new one when they sell refurbed. the use only those returned for not too technical reasons such as, I bought the wrong size etc for refurb. it is like buying almost new. it carries the same warranty. but they dont offer refurbs of any new product for about a year for the same reason. Thanks Rebel, Thakita_Thakita and Siloan bros. Been to apple store for the first time yesterday. Was like fish market.. Too many people - man its like Jagan mania there. First things first. Could not help but appreciate the way they arranged the store. THE BEST. Hats off. If you plan on buying something apple, just go there. You can play with it to your hearts content and then decide in a cool setup. Got carried away and got a crazy idea of buying a MAC but better sense prevailed. Genius bar is cool concept. Next, coming to wifi issue with ipad, after waiting for 20 minutes, one guy served me. Asked me what was the issue. Did not pay much attention to what I said. He just ran some diagnostics on my ipad. Then said, he will give me a new ipad. Just like that. Got everything back from the iCloud. My only gripe is I had protective cover installed now I need to buy another for the new one. My overall impression is they make mistakes in their product but they know how to pacify the disappointed lot. Way to go apple. You got my loyalty back. Now I am on the look out for a savings plan to buy a Mac. Any suggestions from the investment gurus? Thanks |
