V Vijay Sai Reddy, the personal auditor of YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy’s companies and the accused no. 2 in the latter’s alleged illegal assets case, is desperate to pray his favourite gods Lord Venkateshwara of Tirumala and Sai Baba of Shirdi, so as to wriggle out of the case. Sai Reddy filed a petition in the CBI special court seeking permission to leave Hyderabad for six days to enable him visit Tirumala and Shirdi to pay obeisance to Lord Venkateshwara and Sai Baba respectively. The court had earlier granted him bail on the condition that he should not go out of Hyderabad and appear before the CBI as and when called. Sai Reddy is a staunch devotee of both the gods. He was the member of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams trust board during his hey days. And he also regularly used to go to Shirdi. Even in Chanchalguda jail, Sai Reddy used to spend time with Sai Bhajans in the evening, said a media report.
