Its not becoz the court was fast.. it was slippery coz of the paint used to color.. also the advertisement banners were almost same color as the ground. wimbledon gross change cheyaledu..but they went for heavier balls...fish gave an interview couple of months back stating how difficult it is to play aggressive game these days because of the surfaces and the heavier balls...even this year french they changed the balls . They are not using the balls they used last year...After fed's win last year I mentioned that fed beat joker because the balls were light and fast..so joker was not able to put too much pressure on federer's backhand... and fed played his best french final against nadal... since players complaied about those balls, now they went to little slower balls . thats the myth...John mcnroe himself said that fed works as hard as anyone else...ofcourse i think that it would not be possible for him to spend too much of time on court...he is married with 2 kids and he is busy outside tennis world...he improved his backhand and his serve...he came up with drop shots to counter nadal...fed can't go back to 2 handed backhand now..it is what it is... fed crushed nadal in 2 of their previous 3 meetings...because the conditions favoured him...this is my whole point fed at the age of 30+ can crush nadal in straight sets if the conditions favour him a bit...

This is the difference between fed and nadal. USO was nadals bitter grape. He knew his game still not matured enough for hard courts. What does he do? After the loss he goes back to majorca, practices harder.. improved his serve.. came back with vengeance and you see the result in 2010. Fed never improved his game.. he doesnt practice as hard as nadal. he doesnt work on his short comings other than changing the coach, he did nothing. Top3 have no effect on their order of ranks this year. On clay, nadal can take fed and joker back2back. If you say courts are getting slower then it applies to joker too. Grass courts started to slow down since 2003/04 and thats how fed got pete in five. Dont say grass courts slowed down after 2007. Audience love to see some rallies and hence the result. You are contradicting your argument. His strength is FO ani numbers ae cheptunnai.. so he is weak on hard courts. If he won atleast two on each US/AO by getting a safe draw then you might have valid point. But he never won more than once and the way he won USO and AO, it was picture perfect. It was only 2010 Dec, joker realised how gifted he is and before that 4 setter ke aipoyedi vaadi stamina.. Also top3 being on same side doesnt make sense to me.
