Thanks. Hopefully out of this chaos, India will achieve a clarity and a vision that will take it to the next stage of growth. The problem is that we always paint ourselves into a corner until we break out in a vengeance like we did in 1991. If not, we will remain a perpetually underachieving country. Whatever be the outcome, next 2-3 years write off cheyacchu Indian economy ni. Unless oil drops to $60-70 but that that does solve our structural problems, it can only be a short term relief. | ||

Anyone who votes for Jagan or their kind of corrupt ilk have no right to protest over rising fuel prices, 10 year low GDP growth, losses in stock market, bad roads, power shortages etc etc. The crony capitalism that has taken deep roots in our economy over the past 10 years is the main culprit of our disastrous economic state currently. Inspite of this, if people vote for the corrupt, then they deserve to be stuck in this morass. I believe strongly in the tenet that the people in any democratic state get the government they deserve. If, as many suggest, Jagan ends up getting 14 odd seats in thy byelections, it essentially means that we deserve him as our Chief Minister. It means that people are happy getting a Rs500 or Rs1000 as a throwaway even though the culprits have knocked up around 10000 cr + in their accounts. When i visit the state, i get deeply pessimistic. Opinions are along the lines of "andaru thintaru, veedu koncham ekkuva thinnadu, anthe". Like Enti Kaburlu said in another post, we have to make AP like one big prison compound a la Australia. |
