Violence: Sabita Warns Of Stern Action Fearing large scale of break down of law and order in the state in the event of official announcement of Jaganâs arrest, Home Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy issued a statement in the evening warning that stringent action would be taken against violators of law. Though Sabita did not mention any reasons for issuing the statement, she said: âin view of the prevailing circumstances, everyone should respect the rule of law and the judiciaryâ. At the same time, she asked the police officials to act impartially. âIt is the duty of the government to protect law and order. If anyone, however high and mighty they maybe, breaches the law, they will be punished. We are taking all precautionary measures to see that peace and tranquillity is not disturbedâ, she added.
