i really doubt if u need to have a 5G compatible device to use that router ..

he might be talking about a router which can use 5G as connectivity to internet, and u can use wifi for local access ...

Edo na maanana nenu na inTiki oka router kondam ani best buy ki vellanu

I was debating between asus rt-66u, linksys e4200 and linksys ea4500.

The guy who was helping me out tells me netgear has a new router using this new ac or 5G protocol that allows uptop 1300 mbps, thats right 1.3 Gbps. and the cost difference is 20 bucks.

I personally wait till the technology has settled before pulling the trigger, but wouldnt mind future proofing my self. On the flip side I dont have any 5G compatible devices at the moment and pretty set in the electronics dept in the near future.
