I am looking into $LOW (Lowes)... for short term... earnings announcement is on 21st May.... there will be a chance that this might go up... from here to atleast $1... near term support for this stock is 30.31 and resistance is at 31.34... today it went down and tested support and came back... if the market movement is bearish tomorrow.... i will wait for that support and enter into this position and come out of this at 31.34.. all opinions expressed here are mine.. | ||

Good news about MAKO is, now it is very attractive. Sorry for the guys who bought in 30s and 40s, just hang in or average the cost. My last purchase was 26. So I am barely hanging in there. Luckily did not have $$ to buy in 40s. The report is not bad. The street suspects a dilution since they are going for 50M loan. I think that is what it is. Looks like the new norm is possible 30% downs. We have to factor in this new phenomenon in the future. Just do a mental math what if 30% less in one day. If it still looks good buy. New rule. One staggering observation. Berkshire did not budge. That is the power of buybacks. That stock looked so cheap 2 weeks ago, now it looks like a rock. That's a quintessential defensive position stock. better than Gold. Now I get what Buffett is really saying when he says sell Gold. He is really saying sell Gold and buy Berkshire. I guess.
