Till today India still uses British maps and railway tracks to run and operate a successful railway line. - With an idea of educating Indian people, the British rulers also gave India it's first ever and the best university - The university of Calcutta. It was founded in 1857 during the administration of Lord Canning, the Governor General of India. Dr Fredrick John, the education secretary to the British Government in India, first tendered a proposal to the British Government in London for the establishment of a university in Calcutta, similar to the London University. - List doesn't end here, but the Britishers also gave India it's law. Yes, India still runs on the same old law constitution which the British government practiced. - Relatively to the law, India still has its judicial courts based in the same buildings which the Britishers made. Britishers created some optimum quality of buildings, palaces and monuments which are still present in a great condition in India. - Even the first printing press in India setup at Goa in 1556 by the Portuguese was maintained and operated by the Britishers. Today India has become just a platform where every Indian official (govt/private) tries to fill in his huge pockets with huge amount of bribe money. Even the people who are sitting on a revolutionary position such as the President and Prime Minister, are doing nothing but leeching money as much as possible for themselves or their higher ones. |
