You are completely missing my point here...I'm not saying docs should be absolved...I'm saying this law is very tough to implement! vidamarichi cheputhanu 1.Abortion is legal in India 2.Female foeticide (Abortion, because the parent does not want a female child) is illegal in India. So, to punish anyone, You should be able to prove their "Intention" in getting an abortion.....How would u do that? That law exists in India sis and most of the docs follow. It would be just impossible for the legal system to uphold it. As farmer said, it is more of a moral issue. Parents living wi their sons in the north is still very very common, a lot more than south. And in all girl families, there is no one to take care of them. That fear drives them to such acts among other things. The day girls start feeling the same responsibility towards their parents and actually do something about it is when things will change. | ||

I am hooked to the song too - the lyrics are beautiful Amir has blasted Star plus with commercials every few mins for the last few weeks - so the song has really taken off...
