Between 2001 and 2009 (approximately), faction movies elevated the crime, factionism. Hero was always the one who fought through factionism and supposedly the one who stood for Dharmam. These movies gained a lot of fame and brought factionism out to all over Andhra and made it not just acceptable but glorified it. At the same time YSR also became a Hero of the masses. I think movies also contributed to this in a very huge way. What do you think? |
