maa office lo full time employees are not supposed to be doing coding at all.

pretty much the same in our company too.....we have outsources all development and support activities in IT, you can't be an FTE and code. System Administration is completely moved to Asia. We don't have a on-site support for systems :-) All Training development teams have been outsourced. Similarly even on the business side, we continue to move a considerable % of jobs in manufacturing, engineering, operations. Except for our corporate office here, none of the offices in US are growing on par with those outside US.

it depends on what model they adopt....I see significant growth/offload of work from US to india. It might not be as profitable if they are outsourcing to companies like infosys/wipro.

We are finding it hard to recruit and meet the demand.

maa office lo full time employees are not supposed to be doing coding at all. programmer ane vaadu kanipisthe, he will be flushed out by a wipro/infosys/CTS person. FTs will be managing a few set of employees from WIpro etc. we don't do doing anymore. morning 8 to 12 on conf calls, afternoon will be spent on sending meeting minutes + follow up on previous days' mails.

its not the cost factor associated, it's the availability of talent pool (they may not be extra smart, but they can keep monitoring micromuse alerts and react to them quickly)
