Jagadamba theatre is all set to screen its first movie The Avengers in 4K dual 3D projector on Friday. Qube Cinema is introducing high frame playback and dual 4K projectors with multi-IMB (Integrated Media Block) sync to the theatre.

Two Barco dual 4K projectors, which holds a Guinness record for its brightness, with Qube XP-I server and Qube Xi 4K IMB seem to be exclusive features of the system. It supports high frame rate content from a single server and provides exhibitors with proven equipment, installed for the first time in the world after being showcased in CinemaCon 2012, Las Vegas.

With Qube XP-I server, a single server can drive two synchronised projectors each with IMB and dual streams of 4K content yield to effective image.

âThe effect of watching a 3D movie from 2K to 4K projector is quite exceptional. It creates an immersive visual experience to the audience. It may not be surprising if one gets into a character while watching a 3D movie. High frame rates enable in smooth and closer viewing of the picture,â explained general manager of Real Image K.L Naveen. The unique feature of the technology is watermarking that helps in tracing the source of piracy.

Managing Director of Jagadamba cinemas V. Jagadish Kumar said: âThe regular screen of the theatre has been replaced with silver screen for better reflective quality.â

In addition to the 4K dual 3D, a pair of passive glasses with features like light-weight, nil electronics, and a light tint, which is not so discriminative to the naked eye, make a 3D movie worth watching.
