any specific path you recommend ... i know that its always good to have knowledge abt as many modules as u can (reminds me abt sap frnds falutin their knowledge in sd fico mm bi bo etc :P ) but now its the start of my journey in apps so initial ga I know ive got to learn the ebs r12 architecture n essentials but after that what anedi question ... leaning towards financials - gl/flexcube/ap/ar but then scm looks good too ... oracle crm gurinchi chaala mandi antha goppaga cheppaledu regarding current market hiring. n ya apps system admin or apps dba is not my cup of tea

Move over into a functional role for a couple of years and stay at the same pay. then you can drastically increase it once you are confident. balupu s/o gelupu |

Yatra:Currently $50 ph I need something in the ballpark of $75+ ph.
is it to you or your employer? i am asking because if isit is to you then you need to aim at +30/hr increase which includes your employer cut to reach your target. Ashton - I'm living an Amish lifestyle. so far so good. |

At a x-roads ... gatha 5.5 yrs ga I am a pure Oracle Developer (SQL/PLSQL) and Data Analyst with unix exp. Oracle Forms 10g / Reports 10g lo kontha work chesa kaani that was at the start of my career. I need a change now. I was applying for FT jobs but chaala mandi neeku only 1.5 yrs ee vunnayi H1 meeda (exp oct 2013) ani reject chestunnaru ... some reject coz of the other usual reason i.e. no H1 sponsorship. Thats the reason I want to stick to contracting but shift like 2 gears up and earn some serious dough. I still did not start my PERM process with my current employer ... next month chesthanu eb2 lo (stalled it earlier coz masters incomplete vunde now thts not a problem). Thing is I want to learn some good new technologies in Oracle ... 20% to improve n expand my skill set and 80% coz of wanting a higher pay. Currently $50 ph I need something in the ballpark of $75+ ph. Naku Java knowledge anthaga ledu (read as next to nothing ani ) ... Oracle Fusion MW / ADF lite anukuntunna. Out of these which do you guys recommend based on a) billing rate (i know down the lane this may change but at present entha ravochu) b) extent of java involved c) cracking the Oracle certification d) demand of tht ebs r12 module in market: Oracle EBS R12 SCM/OM, SCM/Purchasing, CRM, HCM, Financials(GL,AP,AR)... any others plz suggest... Im really up for learning anything but want to focus on a core area and later expand on that. Which one do you guys suggest I start off with based on your experience? } |
