Tirumala Tirupathi Devastams is gracious enough to hold Sri Srinivasa Kalyanam with Deities from Tirumala in Dallas, TX USA on May 12th 2012 at Dr.Pepper Arena, Frisco, TX. Sri Lakshmi Ganapthi Temple of Plano is pleased to host this event. Dallas is a dream land for many of the Indians due to its special attraction of Indian community, good weather and facilities. Many of the Hindu families settled here are still following Hinduism, respect our cultures and traditions. To name a few, Smt. Srilatha Suri and Smt.Lakshmi Gunturi are truly upholding the Hindu culture by teaching Kuchipudi dance and music to the upcoming generations for over many years. Everyday Tirumala Tirupathi Devastams gets a minimum of 100,000 applications for Kalayanostvam ticket, 2000 applications for Thomala and Archana tickets, 1000 applications for Suprabatham. However TTD is able to accommodate only around 600 people for Kalyanam and around 50 for Thomala/Archana/Suprabatham due to various limitations. Many Srivari devotees have a life time dream to participate in these sevas. In order to serve them, Sri Lakshmi Ganapthi Temple has given opportunity for our Hindu Community to participate in these Sevas. Over 200 volunteers who are not affiliated to any commercial entities are working tirelessly to make this event as a memorable one. We cordially invite each one of you to come and participate in this Srinivasa Kalyanam and make it successful. Highlights of this event are 1. The deities from Tirumala will be received in Dallas and the performance of the sevas and rituals will strictly adhere to the Tirumala Vikhanasa Agama procedures. 2. The rituals will be performed by very Senior Veda pandits like Sri Prahlada Charya/Sri Chandramouli Sarma/Sri Sarat Kumar/Sridhar etc., who are serving the Lord Venkateswara of Tirumala for several years. 3. Sri C.Muthyam Reddy MLA, TTD Board Member and Sri J.Venkatarami Reddy JEO, Tirupathi are among the chief guests for this event. 4. Srivari Mahaprasadam, Tiruchanoor Ammavari Kumkuma, Srivari Laddu Prasadam will be arranged by TTD for Free Distribution to the Devotees. Below is the schedule of all the Sevas that will be held in Dr.Pepper Arena, Frisco TX on May 12th 2012. Suprabatham – 8 AM Thomala Seva – 8:30 AM Ashtadalapadapadmaradhana ( Archana ) – 9:00 AM Kalyanotsavam – 10:00 AM. The event is Free and open to all. There is no Admission Fee. Free Maha Prasadams will be distributed to all the devotees. Sri Lakshmi Ganathi Temple is welcoming all the devotees to participate and get blessings from Lord Venkateswara, Sreedevi and Bhudevi.
