annai, i used to be a good runner.. madhyalo konni thikka panulu sesa... oka 3 yrs gap ichi, road meedha without proper shoe 3 to 5 miles lagethatam modhalu etta(not without stopping).. over a period of 6 months raka rakaala pains istarted.. after that i couldnt even run a quarter mile without pains.. ippudu almost mile ki vacha with carefully watching my muscle strength.

@MS aa neelagay 5K run oka 3 yrs nundi plan sethunna...kiki @MOM thamud weight loss kee dont count calories too much...eat less than daily req, avoid sugars, eat healthy eat frequently 4 weeks nundi nenu cardio day kee 15 mins range lo sesthunna that too not all 7 days of the week went from 157/8 to 151/2..food is the major factor but one has to be at some kind of cardio level... where you can do an intense activity for at least 15 mins without feeling dizzy Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall,Humpty Dumpty had a great fall |

I was never a ruuner before but tried once in 2007 for couple of months and quit and started again this Jan and running 15-20 miles /week (Treadmill and outdoor). I started with interval training but now can run 6.2on tread mill or 5.2 Miles in an hour with couple of mins rest at half mark. I used to fee knee pressure at starting stage when I did not do warm up or cool down but now a days with proper warmup\cooldown\stretching I dont feel that much. Eventually I too want to turn away from these long runs and concentrate on core and weights. Ashton - I'm living an Amish lifestyle. so far so good. |

sittesh, running is a very bad thing for extended periods, if you havent trained for it. no two ways about it. elliptical is a much better option as it does not put extra pressure on joints, but puts pressure on muscles(which is what you need). if you like running, train for it. ante planned penchaali timing and strength. the world of appearances may or may not be real, or both may and may not be real - or may be indescribable; or may be real and indescribable, or unreal and indescribable; or in the end may be read and unreal and indescribable - its all Syadvada |
