Though world recognise newton as father of modern science... i feel the guys who discovered and experimented with electricity deserve that...........starting with coloumb, voltas .....in my opinion faraday's electric motor/dynamo is the most pathbreaking technological invention of all times....of all achievements discovery of electricity is subtle and one can say fundamental which was not obvious to the human perception......I would say knowledge of electric force is the real contribution that modern science can be proud of
