Kahaani is a must watch movie for the following reasons - 1) It is Hindi cinema's proud moment of competing genuinely with "Foreign cinema" 2) Sujoy Ghosh, the director - has exceptional talent - the racy, but very intelligent screenplay is first rate .. the story is top notch .. the direction - just perfect 3) Entire movie is run on the shoulders of a woman protagonist - Vidya Balan 4) The supporting cast is exceptional .. loads of talent .. tons of "natural" talent .. 5) Just portrays the Indian way of life .. no artificial, unreal and glorified western culture to appease "western" audience .. just plain Indian lives .. put in the city of mother Kali .. Kolkata .. This movie is a must watch in the theatre and one should also have a DVD .. I would give it .. 5/5 .. my first for an Indian movie .. Thanks Sujoy, Vidya and Parambrata (watch out for this guy - he will rock for sure) .. for giving me an awesome Indian cinema experience .. Special Mention - Vishal and Sekhar's BGM ..
