I am one of the volunteers for Lok Satta Kukatpally. First of all, I'd like to thank Indiarocks for his support. Please be assured that we are doing what we can for development within our limitations. You will receive a response if you submit your complaint over the website. For urgent issues, please do call 944-105-1844, it is not a number posted for formality. Sambi will do his best to solve your issue or at least give an update. People who are busy with their day-to-day activities do not realize how messed up our systems are (and I don't blame them). I do not want to start off with a long post but I will give 2 specific examples. 1. To extend a school in Babbaguda, it took 2 years of JP's effort. He had to approach state ministers several times. And this was permission for a government land that was not under any disputes. 2. People complain about pollution. Many constructions that are responsible for it are actually owned by the existing public representatives. JP staged a dharna once and issued a fine of 3 lakh rupees to Sujana Constructions. In another instance we had to fight with another representative to have construction material removed from the public road near Malaysian Township. Trust us, none of us are seeking any 'name' for ourselves. Our office has two full-time staff. The office maintenance and the salary for one of them is supported by JP's MLA salary (which he is donating) while for the other person (Sambi), we manage through volunteer donations. Since we do not indulge in corruption, we do not have other sources of funds. So we need active and unpaid volunteers to follow-up on efforts. For a place like Kukatpally, we need a minimum of 500 active people. We hardly have 50 and most of them can spare only the weekends.
