CBI To Delay Jagan Arrest Till By-Polls? inka meee mee panul suskondi time waste voddu it applies to me also  Now that the Central Bureau of Investigation has filed the charge-sheet in connection with the alleged illegal assets case of YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, the media circles are anxiously waiting when the CBI would arrest Jagan. According to the indications from New Delhi, the CBI might not arrest Jagan till the completion of by-elections to 18 assembly seats in the state. The Congress party is apprehensive that Jagan's arrest at this stage would lead to a serious law and order problem in the state and there is every possibility that Jagan would take advantage of the situation in the next by-elections. Already, the party is facing trouble with the Telangana movement and it might not risk further by arresting Jagan. âIf the Congress party had its way, it would have asked the CBI to arrest Jagan long back. But it has to weigh all pros and cons before taking the decision,â a Congress leader said. Another section of the party says the sooner Jagan is arrested the better for the party, as any opportunity for him to tour the districts would help him garner peopleâs sympathy. "Whether he is arrested now or later, the result of the by-elections would be same as the Congress has little chances of winning. At least by arresting Jagan now, it can get some credibility," another Congress leader observed.  Golden Spoon |
