AFAIK cancelling is different from revoking H1B....cancelling just means employment is terminated with a particular company but validity of H1B petetion is adifferent matter | ||

Same as regular I797. You get A/B when you apply for H1 while staying within the US and that doesnt require consular processing ie, visa stamp in home country. I797C - You get this when you apply from abroad ex from india. This requires you going to consular processing and get visa stamp for entry. It doesnt matter if your employer cancelled your H1 or not as they will find out when you apply for new xfer and most likely you will get I797C. If at all they did and uscis didnt find out, you may or maynot get I797A or B and you are good to enter the country on old visa stamp. You will get all instructions once your xfer is approved. In this db, there's always someone watching you!!  | ||

I-797A oste enter avachu coz I-797A includes an I-94...I-797C is an approval but it doesn't include an I-94, it includes a recommendation to get stamped @ the nearest consulate adi matter..reach out to ur prev employer and verify if he really cancelled ur h1..assumptions oddu...cancel cheste ur left with no other choice but to apply for a h1 transfer from india | ||

My recommendations in the order of preference 1) Travel on the same H1..mahaa aite POE lo enduku antha sepu out of country ante health issues or sth else cheppachu with a doc certificate or sth 2) Transfer H1, travel to US with old stamp....you will be grilled coz ur employment conditions have changed..1st option lo ese vacation related questions tho patu indulo employer related kochens kuda adigi sava godathadu.. 3) H1 XFer, stamping and travel - safest but most unpredictable if i were you, i would go with option # 1..99% prob avadu | ||
