Videos of Balakrishna receiving Nandi award recently are published in their Facebook fan pages. Women and NRI fans are part of Balakrishna fan clubs on Facebook. Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, Venkatesh and Nagarjuna are top four actors. Of these four, Nagarjuna and Balaiah have organized Facebook fan pages with thousands of members and supporters. We hear that Balakrishna fans via Facebook fan page want to spread cancer awareness among people. This is one of the pet projects of Nandamuri Balakrishna who is now the head of Basavatarakam cancer Institute. It is heartening to see fan groups like these, involving themselves in social change rather than mere fan praise. |
