Yeah..The following things are sample things which are costly in chennai than in Bangalore

Housing --- Atleast 1 and half times costly
Food (restaurants) --- Atleast 1and half times costly

Public transport - Atleast 1.25 times costly

Movies - This is the only thing that is cheap in Chennai because of Govt regulations on the max ticket price.

bangalore is the smallest compared with other cities .. so it appears as if the avg income is more .... greater bangalore has lot of poor to very poor areas including slums ...

Bangalore's average citizen is far richer than the average citizen in Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi or Kolkata.
