YSR Congress party on Monday castigated Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu for his uncharitable remarks against Y S Jaganmohan Reddy. âThere is absolutely no comparison between Jagan and Naidu. Both are contrasting personalities. While Jagan has sacrificed high positions and rejected the lure of the Congress high command, Naidu had usurped power from his own father-in-law in a coup and played power games all through,â party official spokesperson Gattu Ramachandra Rao said. While the TDP leader only had two-acre land before marriage, he had grown to own the multi-crore Heritage Foods. People who invested in his company were given Rajya Sabha seat, while YSR had told many times that he was a tax payer from his student days itself, he said. âChandrababu Naidu was an embodiment of corruption and manipulation while Jagan has promised to give a corruption-free state which serves the people and takes care of the marginalised section of society, students, farmers and old age people,â he added. |
