Can we beleive this I know knf lost but just 1 lk ... Kovur by-poll: Jagan fans paid the price The Kovur by-election result might have pleased YS Jagan, but not his fans. Though everyone anticipated that YSR Congress party candidate Nallapureddy Prasanna Kumar Reddy would be the winning horse, most of them has mis-judged the majority he would be getting. The followers of Jagan has bet heavily on the margin of his victory. They estimated that their party candidate would win the by-poll with at least 30,000 votes majority and most of the bets were taken on a majority between 30,000-50,000 votes. However, Nallapureddy Prasanna Kumar Reddy won the by-poll with just 23,496 votes majority, which runied the lives of YSR Congress party supporters. This bets ranged from Rs 1,000 to Rs 25 crore. Nearly, Rs 500 crore has gone into the betting on just majority of Prasanna Kumar Reddy alone and the punters from all over state has been involved in it. In Vijayawada, a YSR Congress leader wagered his 30 acre land on a majority of over 30,000 for Prasanna Kumar Reddy. What would he do now? As per the reports, very few people have made money in this by-poll and most of them had bitten the dust. Interestingly, some of the punters had invested more than that of Jagan's entire Kovur by-poll expenditure and paid the price. Kovur by-poll result: YSR Congress candidate Nallapureedy Prasanna Kumar Reddy won with 23,496 votes majority. While TDP candidate Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy came second, Congress candidate Srinivas Reddy settled with the third spot.
