Nitish has a better chance at becoming PM in a coalition style govt...Nitish has more acceptability among political parties unlike Modi...If BJP can project Modi as a PM and face the elections then all this might change...Modi does have a lot of support among educated middle class ,more so among urban voters...just how much will it translate into votes in places like AP, WB is a matter of debate....will BJP have the guts to do this is the question...considering no one comes closer to Modi's popularity in BJP it should have been done by now....Will modi take the risk of leaving gujarat and become a national leader and risk his position is matter of speculation... The only thing that is negative to Modi is his paraih status among other parties...don't know if TDP will ever form an alliance and go to polls with MOdi as PM candidate...same with mamata and TMC..they need a lot of muslim votes to sustain in WB... | ||

Yep..third front loo Nitish will have a fair chance... asalu eee BJP supportes ki Modi obsession entoo artham kaadhu..Granted, he may be the best CM Gujarat has ever had...But this man has never been to the power corridors of Delhi..he has never held a portfolio in the Union cabinet...In fact, if i remember right, he has never been a member of either house of the Indian parliament..He seems too hesitant to step out of his comfort zone, which is Gujarat...If he really has aspirations for 2014, now is the time for him to step down as the CM, and get himself elected to the parliament and lead from the front.... Regional parties will not align with BJP ? Or BJP w/Modi ? I want it be Modi vs. Rahul in 2014. I don't think he is a political pariah. Modi's biggest hindrances are within his party. If BJP projects him as a PM nominee, the rest of the parties will fall in line. BJP has no chance w/o Modi but it will be too late before they realize that.
