forget about winning all ODI games ... no tournament won outside india last 3+ yrs ... who cares if sachin made 100 100 or 100 0's India lost its a SAD Day in my life thats all... Stats base meeda chesukoni player ni dside chesetattu aite kapil dev supposed to be part of team even today can any one bring any players innings thats better than kapildevs innings against ZIM in 1983 world cup I bet any one bring that says better than kapils innings in that match. Not even dreams its possible. He played such maveric innings. Based on that one should keep him forever in team until his last breathe. Bottomline is one innings kannot make any player keep his position in team. Its the consistency does matter.
