A few days ago, he described senior bureaucrat Y Srilakshmi as "a beautiful lady with worst and corrupt behaviour." He later regretted his comments.

Narayana also catches the attention of the media with his strange behaviour. A few days ago, he took off his shirt and walked half- naked in a rally in support of textile merchants who were protesting against imposition of VAT on cloth sales. His bare-chested body attracted quite a few passers by. And he threatened to disrobe the people in power, if the VAT on textiles was not removed!
