if what i am predicting is true, this is how the iTV will be. they will put a complete iMac in the TV. then they will give a wireless 2nd montor the size of an iphone as the hand held. you run all applications on the hand held and the tv acts as the primary display. He is talking about Wireless Display. Intel has this technology for few years. In fact, my 2 yr old Toshiba has Intel Widi built into it. I think Katti is talking a different thing we are all taking about different thing. Katti wants to mirror everything on to the screen. AirPlay is like DLN you can play music, videos but you canot mirror you dive onto TV. | ||

so far, they support audio only. There are no video-supporting AirPlay receivers. It is not really a new feature. it is based on open source DLNA protocol. Apple customized it and calls "AirPlay" Microsoft created "PlayTo" version. | ||

Only touch screen applications work.. Y dont you gusy introduce tiny CPU with wireless display to any output monitor.. That is all.. Now smartphones can do more than what desktop is doing.
