Redbull: simple brother..human life ki value nil indialo if you don't have money..period
very true .. but its already changing .. meedi concern .. but there are others who bash .. and you cant be fair towards them .. We should be ever grateful to those heroes who upheld the honour and dignity of our nation. Chhatrapati Shivaji was our national hero, who established swarajya and liberated the people. The celebration of Shivaji festival is an occasion for expressing our gratitude to him. If we cherish the memories of our national heroes we can promote in ourselves a nationalist attitude. For promoting the sense of nationality, it is necessary to have national heroes whom people can worship as idols. - Tilak |

Tilak:btw .. did u realize .. unity in diversity is another UID
simple example cheptha vinu brother..in our mandal..one of my best friend has been appointed as registrar on data gathering of UID project... They are provided with shabby laptops and charge won't last for more than 2-3 hours. They went around 20-30 villages for 2 months and collected data. I was clearly able to see 25-30% data collected was wrong..becoz many didn't know date of birth..even 5,10 yrs old do not have in villages. when ever they want to charge laptops.or other devices as there was no power they have to rush to district head quarter and charge them. every evening they connect to central server(CIDR) and update data..and if they try 20 attempts it will connect to central server. supervisor had a check and found that 5-6 villages have more than 40% of wrong data..and sent them to collect fresh data again...they did that for next 2 weeks and came back to district head quarters...on that night they were unable to connect to cental servers so they went home..that night..some thieves have broken into that office and stolen laptops, fingerprint devices and biometric devices... it has been 5-6 months..and still waiting to recieve new laptops and other items from bangalore... idhi root level lo mana achivements... I happened to meet nandan nilekani in bangalore regional UID office along with my friend who is one of registrar of this project. I heard from his own mouth how difficult situaltion our country is to make any improvements.. Inkaaa pedha irony enti ante..even in this DB okko mandal lo ye kulam vaallu entha mandhi vunnaru ane data cheptharu kaani..not the data that is useful for good and quality living tell me how best this can be improved ..and now tell me with out implementing atleast such unique process..how do u see..things can be improved...how can u get correct data |

Tilak:Nilekani, for reasons I do not know, has given India, a huge and costly BS in the form of UID .. its just trash and the reasons are there for everyone to see, since the beginning. I guess, for him, its another "database" project with a lot of budget - to play with. All due respects to Nandan though.

Redbull: Do you know where UID project is ending up :-) despite its run by nilekani..Unique data collection procedure vundha...death,birth registration process is different from state to state..and rather disrict to district...if this is the case..how are we going to slice and dice data..

Tilak:90% people invest heavily in India
I don't deny this bit...everyone has hope and are comfortable in known place... Only 120 crores population antaamu gaani mana policies, its implemntors and followers..kaadhu antaavaa reason..In my view untity in diversity ani cheppukovataaniki baavuntundhi gaani...i see that is biggest show stopper for our growth... Suppose if we implement very good IT system in Chennai..that can not be used in Bamgalore..becoz language, regional and caste, differences and politics differences.. Do you know where UID project is ending up despite its run by nilekani..Unique data collection procedure vundha...death,birth registration process is different from state to state..and rather disrict to district...if this is the case..how are we going to slice and dice data.. its reported in eenadu couple of months ago..where pension is claimed by lakhs of people..who do not exist... |

Redbull:
I am not at all saying .. its all hunky dory and rosy in India .. but what I am saying is .. this country (India) is up for some of the greatest of challenges in the known history of mankind .. providing food, housing, clean water and clothing for 120+ crore people .. and then we will be getting the issues like education, healthcare, pollution, electricity, sanitation, traffic etc .. Tell me, what made USA the place the world flocked??? Just because it is the land of opportunities. In my view, India is the land of opportunities, going into the future. The serious challenges it faces will provide those opportunities. Frankly, why will anyone want to be away from the "land of opportunities"? aina inni matladutunnam kada .. ide DB lo .. 90% people invest heavily in India, the reason is? That reason is enough to convince to be a part of the future growth story called India .. We should be ever grateful to those heroes who upheld the honour and dignity of our nation. Chhatrapati Shivaji was our national hero, who established swarajya and liberated the people. The celebration of Shivaji festival is an occasion for expressing our gratitude to him.
