if financials lead, it will be a weak boom. as a fundamentals guy, i would like to believe, fins can follow a boom, not lead one. you need financial activity to make real money. that would be possible only if there is a high churning boom like housing loans, credit card loans, what else.. people cannot buy houses or spend heavily with this RE and job market. the ONLY possibiity I see is Tech. Cos are sitting on huge piles of profits after cutting cost and jobs. people are also buying tech products crazily in the form of tablets and smart phones, two product classes did not exist previously. corp spend + pers spending both diverging into tech, does not happen that frequently. my 2 cents.. UVXY Though the TVIX suspension is supposed to be temporary, thereâs already a similar vehicle that appears to be grabbing a slew of the fast money that last week would have targeted TVIX. Its mouthful of a name is the ProShares Ultra VIX Short-Term Futures ETF (UVXY). This four month-old fund has a chart that mirrors the product whose share creation has been halted. TVIX is not for long term andi.... if it is stright forward ETN... you can keep it for some time.... not these 2X ETNs.... leverge etfs and etns are short term instruments.... stirictly not for long term.... if I buy any leverage stock/etf/etn.... if it goes below 7% after buying.... i will sell it.... there is no point of keeping it and losing that money.... i will move on and buy some thing else... all opinions expressed here are mine.. | ||
